Dennis Rollins' Velocity Trio

Dennis Rollins has worked with many national and international stars from both the jazz and pop world: Courtney Pine, Jamiroquai and Maceo Parker, to name but a few. He is a renowned band leader and his various groups have won the audience over. Dennis' latest creation Velocity Trio is a daring and incredibly successful endeavour: not only the exqui- site musicianship of the members, but also a rare in- strumentation of the trombone-led trio with Hammond and drums, makes it unique. Dennis leads the trio with his powerful and inventive trombone with which he creates all the moods from funky and groovy to very melodic and lyrical. He takes the risk and pushes the envelope with his creative and edgy approach to music. Ross Stanley, a true Hammond wizard, is renowned for his highly creative, intricate playing. Pedro Segundo's spectacular drumming is rich and audacious.
